David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center main courts to be closed for building maintenance beginning mid-June
The main courts of the Recreation and Wellness Center will be closed beginning mid-June for maintenance and repairs to mechanical equipment and the roof of the main gym of the facility. Memorial service for Sam Hirt, former longtime director of campus recreation, is Nov. 4
A memorial service celebrating the life of Sam Hirt, who served as director of campus recreation at Vanderbilt University for 50 years before his retirement in 2013, will be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, at Nashville First Baptist Church. The sidewalk on the south side of the Recreation and Wellness Center will be affected on March 22 from 7 a.m. to noon for crane work occurring on the roof of the building.
