Commodores head to Virginia for NCAA baseball regional action
The Vanderbilt Commodores received an at-large bid to the NCAA Baseball Tournament today for the first time since 1980. This is the fourth appearance in the NCAA Tournament for the Commodores. The family of Tabitha Tuders will dedicate scholarships in Tabitha's name to the Kennedy Center Reading Clinic Tuesday, June 1, at 3 p.m. at the Vanderbilt Kennedy Family Outreach Center. Tabitha, 13, was abducted in April 2003 outside her Nashville home. Friends of the Tuders family established the scholarship fund in March 2004 in honor of Tabitha and her love of reading. Christie to step down as Owen School dean
William Christie, who has served as the dean of Vanderbilt's Owen Graduate School of Management since 2000, will step down from his position on June 1, Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs Nicholas Zeppos announced.
