Navigating legal matters can be stressful and costly. As a Vanderbilt employee, you have access to a Legal Services plan through our new discount program, Commodore Employee Perks, designed to give you affordable, reliable legal support when you need it most.
By enrolling in this benefit, you gain access to a nationwide network of experienced attorneys who can assist with a wide range of personal legal needs. The plan can help you save thousands of dollars in attorney fees for services such as:
- Traffic violations
- Will preparation and estate planning
- Buying, renting or selling a home
- Family matters, including adoption and elder care issues
- The Legal Services plan costs $19.60 per month and will be deducted from your paycheck. Coverage extends beyond you to include your spouse and dependent children up to age 26, making it a valuable option for the whole family.
Enrollment opens Feb. 9 and closes Feb. 20, with coverage beginning March 1, 2026. Please note that you can only enroll during this special enrollment period, during our annual open enrollment in October, or if you experience a qualified life event.
