The Talent Marketplace—a new, connected experience designed to help you better understand your skills, grow with intention and explore career opportunities across Vanderbilt—is now live.
The Talent Marketplace brings together learning, skill development and career exploration in one place, making it easier to see where you are today and what’s possible next. Rather than focusing only on job titles or current roles, it centers on skills, growth and progress over time.
All staff were automatically enrolled in the Talent Marketplace learning course in Oracle. This course will walk you through the experience, explain how the pieces connect and help you get started with confidence.
What makes up the Talent Marketplace?
The Talent Marketplace is made up of four connected experiences in Oracle that work together to support your development:
Talent Profile
Your Talent Profile is a living snapshot of who you are professionally. It highlights your skills, interests, learning and experiences. As you complete courses and build new skills, your profile evolves with you, helping make your growth visible and supporting more meaningful development conversations with your manager.
Grow
Grow is your personalized career and development experience. It connects learning to real skill development and career pathways. As you engage with learning and development opportunities, Grow helps bring to light what you’re building, where you’re growing, and how those skills align to future roles and opportunities across the university.
Opportunity Marketplace
The Opportunity Marketplace provides visibility into career roles and pathways across the university. It helps you explore how your current and developing skills align to different roles, understand what may be needed to move forward and plan your career with greater clarity.
Learning Hub
The Learning Hub is your central place to discover courses related to skills and career growth. It helps you find courses aligned to job families, sub-families, and skills, making it easier to discover relevant learning across Vanderbilt.
