During Cybersecurity Awareness Month, we invite all students, faculty and staff to “Stay Cyber-Safe, Live Cyber-Smart.”
Cybersafety at Vanderbilt is a year-round commitment rooted in transparency, collaboration, partnership and shared responsibility. The impact of cybersecurity scenarios continues to evolve in real–time and affects everyone at Vanderbilt. Beyond data breaches, swatting, misuse of social media through online bullying, and deepfakes, your personal information and safety are constantly at risk through exposure or misuse.
By arming ourselves with knowledge and crucial cyber-tips, sharing risks openly, working together across departments and supporting one another, we build a culture of trust and protection where everyone plays a positive role in keeping Vanderbilt secure.
We have launched a new site with cyber-safety tips and videos to keep you informed, aware, cyber-safe and cyber-smart. Please join us in maintaining our campus and community as a hallmark of safety and security. Visit our website to learn more.
