3–4 p.m. — Official Program

The official program, starting at 3 p.m. in Langford Auditorium, will feature remarks from Chancellor Daniel Diermeier, Vice Chancellor for People, Culture and Belonging Sydney Savion, with University Staff Advisory Council President Jennifer Bennett serving as the emcee. The fall awards for staff excellence will be presented at the event.

In-person seating will be first come, first served. Doors will open at 2 p.m.

The program will be livestreamed on the Vanderbilt Employee Appreciation webpage and recorded for later viewing.

For those who attend in person, the celebration extends before and after the official program:

2–3 p.m. — Resource Tables and Giveaways

Come early, starting at 2 p.m., for resource tables and exciting giveaways, available on a first-come, first-served basis.

At 2:15 p.m. in the auditorium: People, Culture and Belonging will host a 15-minute live demonstration of a new development and performance management platform. Learn why investing in growth and feedback is an important part of everyone’s career path, and explore how development and performance management can help unlock potential, inspire success and shape a stronger future for all of us.

Join fellow staff members for continued celebrations at the reception after the program.

Parking and Security

  • Parking is available in the 25th Avenue Garage, through the Highland Avenue entrance.
  • At the entrance to Langford Auditorium, attendees will go through metal detectors and may have their bags searched. This is standard policy for VUMC event spaces. Because of this, please allow extra time for arrival ahead of the main program.
