Vandy Cooks: ‘French Cuisine – Famous and Influential Worldwide’ Jan. 24

Join Chef Jake Barton from Vanderbilt University Campus Dining as he demonstrates techniques for layering flavors, pairing fresh ingredients for maximum taste and making dishes visually appealing. The event will be on Wednesday, Jan. 24, from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. in the Wellness Center’s demonstration kitchen.

Having only been living and working in Nashville for three months, Chef Barton is anxious to share his French culinary training with the Vanderbilt community. His profession as a chef has taken him throughout the United States, everywhere from Texas to both East and West Coasts.
