The Student Care Network and the online wellness platform Headspace will offer a webinar, “An Introduction to Approaching Change and Anxiety with Mindfulness,” on Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 5:30 to 6 p.m. The webinar is open to all undergraduate, graduate and professional students at Vanderbilt.
In this 30-minute webinar, Ban Ishii, engagement manager at Headspace, will discuss specific ways meditation and mindfulness training can help you better handle change and the anxious feelings that may accompany it. The webinar will explore the techniques of body scan and noting as well as provide a curated selection of exercises to help guide you along your journey.
