An enthusiastic and energetic crowd came out for the Employee Appreciation pre-game Fan Fest on Sunday, March 3, prior to the Vanderbilt women’s basketball game against the Florida Gators.
Fan Fest, held in the Memorial Practice Gym, featured games, inflatables and other fun activities for Vanderbilt employees and their family members. Giveaways included T-shirts, lanyards, pom-poms, clappers and buttons.
The most popular addition to this year’s event was the Taste of Vandy food-tasting completion. The 2019 winners included:
- Best entrée: Taziki’s
- Best appetizer: Ainsworth
- Best baked goods: Bare Naked Bagel
- Best dessert: Tiff’s Treats
- Best sandwich: Newk’s
Employees showed their team spirit by wearing black and gold, Vanderbilt temporary tattoos and some very creative face painting.
