The Vanderbilt Institute for Digital Learning (VIDL) invites applications for graduate student fellowships for the 2018–19 academic year.
Graduate fellows of VIDL are exposed to tools, ideas and trends in digital learning. They learn about the many aspects of creating and evaluating digital learning content.
Fellows will be required to meet weekly with mentors from the VIDL team and develop project idea(s). They will be required to develop an online educational module based on digital technology they have explored or are currently exploring (either for research or teaching), and learn to use VIDL resources such as the self-serve studio to create the module.
Fellows also will document their workflows and other activities for the benefit of others—on blogs and as documents and multimedia posted to the VIDL website, YouTube and elsewhere—and contribute to scholarship through public presentations, conferences, journals or other venues. Stipends will be $5,500 per academic year for a five-hour weekly commitment.
Applications are due Monday, May 2, 2018. Learn more and find the application form here.
