If you’ve registered to attend the Vanderbilt University tailgate this Saturday, Sept. 16, beginning at 3:30 p.m. and the Vanderbilt vs. Kansas State football game that follows at 6:30 p.m., you’ll want to pay close attention to the new SEC clear-bag policy.
The annual Vanderbilt University Employee Tailgate will be held at Recreation Field No. 2 and will feature food, games, music and fun. Remember to allow extra time to take your vendor giveaways from the tailgate back to your vehicle before you enter the stadium.
In compliance with the Southeastern Conference, Vanderbilt Stadium has a clear-bag policy for all home football games. In order to prevent the inconvenience of having to return prohibited items to your vehicle, we encourage you to consider this policy when choosing the items that you bring into the stadium.
