Vanderbilt University won two regional Emmys from the MidSouth Chapter of the National Academy of Television Arts and Sciences during the awards ceremony Feb. 27 at the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Vanderbilt’s Peabody College of education and human development won in the Writer/Program category for “Saving Lives: Safe and Supportive Schools in Tennessee,” written by Jack Isenhour.
Peabody’s “Saving Lives: Safe and Supportive Schools in Tennessee” also won in the Informational/Instructional Program category for producer/editor Lyle Jackson.
Vanderbilt received six nominations this year for excellence in television, the industry’s highest honor.
