Did you know that Vanderbilt employees can take advantage of free will preparation services?
If you are enrolled in supplemental life insurance through Vanderbilt, you can take advantage of MetLife’s Will Preparation Service, which also includes living will and power of attorney preparation services. If you choose one of Hyatt Legal Plans’ more than 12,000 participating attorneys, you will receive these services at no cost.
Enrolling in MetLife’s Will Preparation Service is easy:
- Call Hyatt Legal Plans (800-821-6400) and a client service representative will help you locate a participating plan attorney in your area and provide you with a case number.
- Call and make an appointment with a participating attorney. Many plan attorneys have evening and weekend appointments for your convenience.
- When you use a plan attorney, you do not need to submit any claim forms. You also have the flexibility of using a non-network attorney and being reimbursed for covered services according to a set fee schedule.
If you are benefits-eligible and have Vanderbilt-paid basic life insurance coverage, you also have access to MetLife’s online will preparation service, WillsCenter.com, even if you are not enrolled in supplemental life insurance.
