During Vanderbilt’s Reunion/Homecoming Weekend, Peabody honored alumni who graduated 50 or more years ago at the annual Pioneer Luncheon. The Class of 1964 was the newest group to be included in the gathering. Despite rainy weather, about 50 alumni attended.
They shared stories, including memories of taking part in civil rights marches in Nashville. They also talked about the career advantages of having a teaching degree from Peabody and the lifelong friendships formed while on campus.
