Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center grand opening is Jan. 13

The newly renovated and expanded Vanderbilt Recreation and Wellness Center will celebrate its grand opening from 2 to 7 p.m. Monday, Jan. 13. All Vanderbilt faculty and staff are invited to attend.

Tours of the facility will be conducted every 30 minutes. Stop by the new Resource Center to meet staff, enter to win prizes, grab a snack and learn what the Recreation and Wellness Center can do for you.

Free samples from Smoothie King, located inside the VRWC, will be available. Visitors also will be invited to name the seven-year-old clam in the center’s fish tank. One lucky winner will win a $10 Smoothie King gift card.

Learn more about exercise techniques, available equipment and group fitness classes. Participate in a group class or observe club sports in action. A full agenda is below.
