The 2011 Vanderbilt Farmers’ Market is now in full swing at two locations.
Vanderbilt University Main Campus Location:
Stop by and shop for local fruits and vegetables, dairy products such as goat cheese, milk and yogurt, grass-fed beef, eggs, pasta, honey, healthy baked goods and flowers. Find the market at Vanderbilt Medical Center Plaza across from Langford Auditorium.
Vanderbilt 100 Oaks Location:
The 100 Oaks Market sells fruit, vegetables and other local offerings. Find the market between the south end of the mall and the cinema. Be one of the first 75 people that come to the 100 Oaks Market on Thursday, July 14 and receive a reusable shopping bag.
Both markets run through Oct. 27, every Thursday from 3 to 6 p.m., rain or shine. Cash is accepted at all vendors; credit cards and debit cards are accepted at some.
All through the season, you can go to the Health Plus website to keep up-to-date with the latest seasonal highlights, recipes, vendor spotlights, and more!
The Vanderbilt Farmers’ Market is a Health Plus, Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt and Nashville Farmers’ Market collaboration.
