You may use direct deposit for your paycheck, but did you know that you can directly deposit flexible spending account (FSA) claim reimbursements into your checking or savings account, too? Signing up for direct deposit is easy and can be used for both health and dependent day care FSA claims.
When you sign up for direct deposit:
- you may receive your reimbursement up to two days sooner than you would via check;
- you’ll benefit from the convenience of having the money deposited into your account without making a trip to the bank;
- you won’t have to worry about the possibility of your check getting lost in the mail; and
- if you move, you won’t have to wait for your reimbursement.
For more information and instructions to enroll, go to the FSA page.
