The Vanderbilt Institute for Digital Learning (VIDL) invites applications for graduate student fellowships for the 2016-17 academic year. Stipends of $5,500 per academic year are intended to reflect a roughly five-hour weekly commitment.
Graduate fellows of VIDL will pursue joint and individual projects relating to a wide variety of digital learning, including advancing scholarship in digital learning and creating and evaluating digital learning content. Examples of possible projects include data mining of online student behavior; researching a history of selected digital learning technologies, such as mobile devices or investigating societal implications of the technology; or preparing, posting and evaluating original educational online material on a selected topic.
To be considered for a VIDL Graduate Fellowship, you must be in good academic standing in a graduate program at Vanderbilt University, with preference given to Ph.D. students. The application form should be attached as a Word document, the link for which can be found on the VIDL webpage. Please email this application as an attachment named “(your last name)-VIDL-Application.pdf.” Also attach your curriculum vitae (named “(your last name)-CV.pdf”).
