As of Dec. 1, most new staff orientation sessions have been moved to the Kensington Club, located on the top floor of Kensington Garage in the space previously occupied by Health Plus. Orientation sessions affected include “You Make a Difference” (Day 1), “It’s Who We Are” (Day 2), and “Clinical Orientation,” which were previously scheduled in the Medical Center North Round Wing, Room S2435.
Parking: Orientation attendees should park in the 25th Avenue Garage only. This is a change from the former orientation parking site located in West Garage. Please note that parking cannot be validated for the Kensington Garage or the 2525 Visitors Garage.
The New Staff Orientation website includes parking instructions, maps and directions to the Kensington Club. “You Make a Difference” sessions scheduled in the fifth-floor training room of the 2525 West End Building (Human Resources) will still take place in that location. Parking for those sessions will continue to be in the garage directly behind the building. Managers are encouraged to check the orientation registration site for the most up-to-date location for their employees’ sessions and accompany new employees to orientation or assign a “buddy” to walk with them.
