Eating fruits and vegetables is good for the body. Supporting local farmers is good for the community – and local tastes best, too.

Join Stacey Kendrick, health educator at Health Plus, for a demonstration and tasting of several healthy recipes using fresh items from the Vanderbilt Farmers’ Market.

The event is scheduled for Thursday, July 14, from noon to 1 p.m. in the Ground Floor Project Room at Peabody Library.  Please email community.connections@vanderbilt.edu to R.S.V.P. Space is limited to 30 attendees.

Community Connections is a grassroots collaborative initiative of the University Staff Advisory Council, the Medical Center Staff Advisory Council and Employee Celebration. Community Connections’ goal is to bring Vanderbilt staff together to provide opportunities for personal enrichment, sharing of interests and connection-building.
