Vanderbilt University is marking national First-Generation College Celebration Week with a series of events to provide first-gen students with an opportunity to find their community. Read More

Student Care Network offices, campus partners and student organizations will be in attendance Oct. 26 from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. to share information about services, engage students in activities and hand out swag. There will be free food, gentle yoga/sound meditation, chair massages and more. This event is open to all Vanderbilt students, faculty and staff. Read More

Vice Chancellor for Outreach, Inclusion and Belonging and Chief Diversity Officer for Vanderbilt University, André L. Churchwell hosted a discussion with faculty members about the history and importance of Juneteenth in observance of the federal holiday. In addition to the conversation, on June 16 the Black Cultural Center hosted “Juneteenth: Celebration of Freedom," Vanderbilt’s annual event celebrating the holiday. Read More

Vanderbilt University invites the community to events celebrating Juneteenth hosted by a number of campus partners. Vanderbilt recently announced that university staff will receive Juneteenth, which commemorates the end of slavery in United States, as a paid holiday beginning in 2023. Read More

The inaugural Student Care Network Wellbeing Fair will take place on Thursday, March 30, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. on Library Lawn, weather permitting. The event, open to all students, faculty and staff, will feature free food from local vendors, chair massages, yoga, meditation and various mindfulness activities to promote well-being.  Read More
