The updated COVID-19 vaccine is available to Vanderbilt University faculty and staff through the Occupational Health Clinic. Employees may also receive the updated vaccine by scheduling with their Vanderbilt Health primary care physician through My Health at Vanderbilt, at Vanderbilt Health Walk-In Clinics and at retail pharmacies across the region. Flulapalooza is Sept. 27; high-dose vaccine will be available
Celebrate the 11th anniversary of the Flulapalooza mass influenza vaccination event on Sept. 27. This year, a high-dose vaccine will be available to faculty and staff who are eligible to receive it. The CDC recommends the high-dose flu vaccine for faculty and staff who are 65 and older, as it has been shown to be more effective in this age range than the standard flu vaccine.
