Nov. 4, 2019—Vanderbilt will commemorate Veterans Day on Monday, Nov. 11, with several events highlighting the unique roles and sacrifices of military medical workers, with a focus on those who served during the Vietnam War.
Oct. 25, 2019—The Annette and Irwin Eskind Family Biomedical Library and Learning Center is sponsoring an exhibit from April 8 to May 8, 2020, titled “Telling Our Stories: Graphic Medicine and the Intersection of Art and Health Care.”
‘Thinking 3D: Visualizing the Brain from the Renaissance to the Present’ open at Eskind Biomedical Library
Sep. 12, 2019—"Thinking 3D," an exhibition exploring the origins of modern neuroscience—including imagery of the brain—is open at the Eskind Family Biomedical Library and Learning Center.
Jul. 23, 2018—The Annette and Irwin Eskind Family Biomedical Library and Learning Center opened July 18 after a yearlong, $12.9 million renovation to support the continuing evolution of medical education.
Jun. 27, 2018—Philip Walker has been named director of Vanderbilt's Annette and Irwin Eskind Biomedical Library, which will reopen Aug. 1 after extensive renovations.

Apr. 21, 2016—Valerie Hotchkiss, a library director and professor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, will join Vanderbilt Aug. 1 in the role of university librarian, with responsibility for nine divisional libraries and the Television News Archive.
Apr. 16, 2015—A National Library of Medicine traveling exhibit, “Opening Doors: Contemporary African American Academic Surgeons,” is underway at the Annette and Irwin Eskind Biomedical Library at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
