In just over two years, a Vanderbilt-Neumora collaboration has led to the Phase 1 clinical trial of a treatment for schizophrenia spectrum disorders, which affect 3.7 million adults in the United States. This is the third chemical compound discovered at the Warren Center for Neuroscience Drug Discovery to reach Phase 1 clinical trials.     Read More

The Discovery Vanderbilt center welcomed adolescent and young adult health expert Stephen Russell to share evidence for strategies that create supportive communities, reduce mental health risk and promote well-being for LGBTQ+ youth. Read More

The seminar will feature a talk by Stephen Russell, director of the School of Human Ecology at the University of Texas at Austin. He will explore developmental understandings of contemporary LGBTQ+ youth and mental health: Why do disparities persist despite social change and acceptance?
