Bruce Carter joins CMT Research Foundation scientific advisory board
Feb. 12, 2021—Bruce Carter, professor of biochemistry and an associate director of the Vanderbilt Brain Institute, has been appointed to the scientific advisory board of the CMT Research Foundation, which shapes research directions and therapeutic development of Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease.
Singers Owen, Kelley team with Topgolf for Children’s Cup benefit
Mar. 15, 2018—Country music singers and friends of Monroe Carell Jr. Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt Jake Owen and Lady Antebellum’s Charles Kelley, recently partnered with the new Topgolf Nashville location for the Children’s Cup, an evening of golf and music to benefit pediatric cancer research at Children’s Hospital.
