Jun. 6, 2016—The Vanderbilt University community is mourning the death of Donny Everett, a rising sophomore and pitcher on the Commodore baseball team, following a drowning accident June 2 in Coffee County, Tennessee. Funeral services for Everett are scheduled for Tuesday in Clarksville, Tennessee.

Jun. 30, 2015—Juniors Carson Fulmer and Dansby Swanson have each earned national awards from the College Baseball Hall of Fame with Fulmer being named the National Pitcher of the Year and Swanson the Brooks Wallace Award winner, given annually to the nation’s top shortstop.

The Commodores finish 51-21 on the season and mark their second consecutive season with more than 50 wins.
