Jim Wallis, a passionate voice among Christian evangelicals for social justice, will deliver the 2005 Cole Lectures at Vanderbilt University's Benton Chapel. Wallis' first address, scheduled Oct. 13 at 7 p.m., is titled "God's Politics," a reference to his most recent book, God's Politics: Why the Right Gets It Wrong and the Left Doesn't Get It. Vanderbilt Kennedy Center named U.S. Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities; Receives $2.5 million five-year grant to support research and outreach
The Vanderbilt Kennedy Center for Research on Human Development has won a $2.5 million, five-year grant and designation as a University Center for Excellence on Developmental Disabilities Education, Research and Service from the federal Administration on Developmental Disabilities.
