This Magic Moment: Vanderbilt football takes down Alabama in historic win
Junior Sherill scores a touchdown against Alabama.
There are only a few times in one’s life when they know they are witnessing history, and Vanderbilt’s 40-35 win over No. 1/2-ranked Alabama on Saturday was just that for a sell-out crowd at FirstBank Stadium. The victory over the Crimson Tide marks the first time in program history that the Commodores defeated the top-ranked team in the nation. Engineering's Yiorgos Kostoulas named Fulbright U.S. Scholar

Professor Yiorgos Kostoulas has been selected to receive a Fulbright U.S. Scholar Program Award for the 2024-25 academic year from the U.S. Department of State and the Fulbright Foreign Scholarship Board. Kostoulas, director of the Division of Engineering Science and Management, will teach and conduct research in Trinidad and Tobago at the University of the West Indies, St Augustine Campus. Read More
