Chancellor appoints advisory group to advance innovation ecosystem

The group will build upon existing work to leverage Vanderbilt-driven research and innovation to support local community needs, attract entrepreneurial talent and venture investment, and expand our city and region’s innovation capacity. They also will examine infrastructure needs, including dedicated physical space, programs for collaboration and how to foster a culture of innovation. Read More

Eight students selected for new cohort of Ingram Scholars

Six incoming first-year students and two rising sophomores have been selected for the Ingram Scholars Program. They are among more than 1,000 students who applied for the prestigious merit scholarship, which is awarded each year to students who have demonstrated excellence and passion academically and in service. The 208th U.S. Army Band Brass Quintet’s festive and rousing performance set the tone for the Vanderbilt University’s annual Joint Commissioning Ceremony on Friday, May 10, where a standing room only crowd of more than 400 gathered to honor 35 ROTC cadets and midshipmen commissioned into the U.S. Army, Navy and Marine Corps.
