Poet Stephanie Niu awarded 2024 Vanderbilt University Literary Prize

Collaboration between Québec, Vanderbilt to highlight Heard Libraries collections, foster cultural exchange
Guests at the June 18 celebration enjoyed viewing items from the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries’ French collections.
A new partnership between the government of Québec and Vanderbilt University will bolster opportunities for academic and cultural exchange involving the Canadian province and the Nashville institution. The newly announced partnership builds on Québec’s many connections to Tennessee, which date back to the arrival of Jacques-Timothé Boucher sieur de Montbrun—known locally as Timothy Demonbreun—in the 1760s. Tiny homes, big impact: Civil engineers tackle homeless recovery project
'Tiny homes' at The Village at Glencliff.
When civil engineering students met to choose their senior capstone design projects, they all wanted to work with The Village at Glencliff, a respite community of 12 tiny homes for some of Nashville’s most medically vulnerable homeless citizens that provides a safe place to recover after a hospitalization. Read More
