Vanderbilt University has joined Mayor Freddie O’Connell, the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee, First Horizon Bank, the Metro Housing Division and other funding partners in launching the Nashville Catalyst Fund. Heard Libraries’ Digital Lab awards seed grants to four emerging digital initiatives
Four digital technology projects in the initial stages of development will advance at Vanderbilt, thanks to funding from the Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries’ Digital Lab. Mildred T. Stahlman, who pioneered the treatment of lung disease in premature infants and who was a tireless advocate of children of all ages, has died
Mildred T. Stahlman, BA’44, MD’46, professor of pediatrics and pathology, microbiology and immunology, died June 29. Stahlman pioneered the treatment of lung disease in premature infants and is credited with establishing the world's first modern neonatal intensive care unit at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.Read More
Vanderbilt graduate student Veronica Fraley, who began the month by winning the discus at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, ended June by qualifying for the 2024 Olympics in the event with her performance at the U.S. Olympic Team Trials.
