Bringing Vanderbilt to the world: Students embark on Finance Trek to New York City

In January, 41 Vanderbilt students traveled to New York City for an exclusive Finance Trek hosted by the Vanderbilt Career Center. Participation in this trek required completion of the Vandy in Finance Preparation Pathway program. The trek provided students a powerful opportunity to engage directly with top financial institutions, gaining insights into investment banking, asset management and other finance sectors while making meaningful connections with industry professionals. Read More

Vanderbilt continues its commitment to promoting a safe, supportive and healthy campus environment by launching its annual Alcohol and Other Drug Survey. The survey, conducted by the Center for Student Wellbeing, is a key initiative in understanding and addressing substance use across campus. Majority of Republicans nationally identify as MAGA for first time in Unity Poll

The Vanderbilt Project on Unity and American Democracy has asked Republicans in a quarterly national poll since June 16, 2023, if they consider themselves supporters of the Make America Great Again or MAGA movement. In that first poll, 37 percent of respondents identified more with the MAGA movement than with the traditional GOP. Now, the share of MAGA identifiers within the GOP has swelled to 52 percent—a majority—for the first time in the poll. Read More
