Bringing Vanderbilt to the world: Students embark on Finance Trek to New York City
In January, 41 Vanderbilt students traveled to New York City for an exclusive Finance Trek hosted by the Vanderbilt Career Center. Participation in this trek required completion of the Vandy in Finance Preparation Pathway program. The trek provided students a powerful opportunity to engage directly with top financial institutions, gaining insights into investment banking, asset management and other finance sectors while making meaningful connections with industry professionals. JAMA Network and Heard Libraries establish read-and-publish pilot agreement, broadening access to health sciences research
Vanderbilt University’s Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries have announced a read-and-publish pilot agreement with the JAMA Network, a collection of peer-reviewed medical journals published by the American Medical Association. This open access agreement, the first of its kind for the JAMA Network in North America, enables Vanderbilt-affiliated authors to maximize the discoverability, readership and citations of their research without incurring article processing charges in most JAMA Network publications.
