Vanderbilt Programs for Talented Youth

Designed and led by staff from Vanderbilt’s Peabody College of education and human development, these summer programs challenge and inspire advanced learners in rising grades 1-12. Through academically rigorous courses and a selective application process, students dive deeply into subjects they love (see course options on the PTY website) while discovering their potential among peers who love to learn. Residential precollege one-week and two-week options, as well as day program formats, are available.

Vanderbilt Collaborative Programs

Vanderbilt collaborates with leading precollege organizations like Summer Discovery and Outset to offer rising 9-12 grade students an immersive, academically rich summer experience. Vanderbilt faculty and staff lead dynamic, hands-on courses on our Nashville campus to give students a true taste of college life. Managed by Summer Discovery and Outset, students enjoy a supportive summer experience focused on learning, exploration and growth.
