2025 Commencement events are May 8–9, and volunteers are needed to celebrate our graduates and their families.
Opportunities are available on Thursday, May 8, for the Graduates Day event, and Commencement Celebration at the David Williams II Recreation and Wellness Center.
Staff marshal volunteer opportunities are available on Friday, May 9, for the Class of 2025 undergraduate ceremony at GEODIS Park.
A training session will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, April 29, in Carmichael Multipurpose Room on the first floor of Carmichael College. This event will be hybrid.
Opportunities include event navigation, passing out water and fans, working check-in tables, serving as a greeter and more.
Staff marshal volunteers for Commencement will receive:
- Meals, snacks and drinks
- Volunteer gifts
- Networking opportunities
- The chance to play a vital role in one of the university’s largest, most prestigious and most meaningful events
