To allow for two-way traffic, a new roadway will open April 7 to connect 24th Avenue South to Garland Avenue. The new roadway is located just between the former University Club and McTyeire Hall.
Vehicles:
- 24th Avenue South will still be accessible from Vanderbilt Place, and starting April 7 will connect to Garland Avenue via a two-way roadway located between the former University Club and McTyeire Hall.
- All handicap parking spaces located in Lot 11 will remain open.
Pedestrians
- All sidewalks in the area will remain open and marked.
- Bicyclists and scooterists must dismount in the construction area.
All pedestrian and vehicle routes are subject to change; updates will be shared in MyVU and on the Facilities Instagram and X accounts.
