600 students turn out for Student Affairs’ spring break kickoff wellness event

Mr. C at the Student Affairs Spring Break kickoff event

On Tuesday, March 4—likely the breeziest day of the year—more than 600 students gathered on Alumni Lawn for a pre-spring break kickoff event hosted by Vanderbilt Student Affairs. The lunchtime event promoted student wellness and helped them de-stress from midterms. It featured food from Bag Lady’s food truck, a live DJ, a field goal inflatable game, large yard games, various freebies and even an opportunity to plant a succulent.

Students got to submit Moments That Matter, giving them a chance to reminisce about their Vanderbilt experiences. They also wrote thank-you notes to staff members in recognition of Employee Appreciation Day on March 7.
