Each spring the Office of Postdoctoral Affairs partners with the Vanderbilt Postdoctoral Association to recognize postdocs who demonstrate excellence in research, service, mentorship and commitment to the postdoc community, as well as their mentors who demonstrate willingness to share expertise and advice, service to the community at large and other mentoring activities.
The five awards presented each year are:
- Postdoctoral Fellow of the Year
- Postdoc Mentor of the Year
- Postdoc Service Award
- Faculty Mentor of the Year
- Outstanding Campus Partner
The deadline to submit nominations for each award is Sunday, March 16, at 11:59 p.m. CT.
The awards ceremony is scheduled for Wednesday, May 21, at 3 p.m. with a reception to follow.
