This summer, Vanderbilt IT will migrate email service and cloud document storage for current undergraduate students from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365. As part of this migration, all emails and documents will move from Gmail/Google Drive to Outlook/OneDrive.
Microsoft 365 is already the email provider for Vanderbilt graduate students, faculty and staff. This migration will unify all Vanderbilt community members in one email system, enhancing collaboration, streamlining onboarding, and improving the experience for undergraduates who continue as graduate students, faculty or staff.
VUIT will provide additional information in the coming months about the timing of this change and what you can expect during the transition. No action is required at this time.
