Looking for an enriching experience for your children this summer? Vanderbilt offers a diverse selection of camps providing skill development, learning and fun. Whether your child is passionate about sports, academic exploration or the arts, Vanderbilt has a summer camp experience just for them. 

Athletics

Young athletes can refine their skills in a wide range of sports at Vanderbilt’s athletic camps. Under the guidance of experienced coaches, trainers and players, your child will learn new techniques, enhance their teamwork abilities and boost their confidence. 

  • Vanderbilt Football offers a half-day Youth Camp for rising grades K8, where campers experience an action-packed week of skill development and camaraderie. A discount is available to Vanderbilt employees. For rising grades 912, the Clark Lea Prospect Camps feature a testing circuit, position-specific drills, and 1-on-1 competitive work in individual one-day sessions. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Lacrosse provides two camp options for females in rising grades 812. The Summer Elite Camp is designed for experienced players who wish to take their game to the next level, while the Goalie Clinic focuses on skills and concepts specific to the goalie position. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Basketball offers a three-day Junior Day Camp for rising grades K3 where beginners can learn basketball fundamentals through drills, competitions and game play. For rising grades 410, the Kids Skills Camps provide a four-day experience of skill instruction and competitive game play. A discount is available to Vanderbilt employees. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Soccer camps are designed for players of all levels who want to learn and improve their fundamental soccer skills in a fun and encouraging environment. Three weeklong, full-day sessions are available for rising grades K6 with the option of a half-day. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Tennis offers four weeklong camps for kids age 718 at all skill levels. Campers will work on fundamentals, compete in singles and doubles match play and participate in fun games for skill development. A discount is available to Vanderbilt employees. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Golf gives kids the opportunity to have fun and become better golfers. This two-day weekend camp is open to boys and girls age 1017 of any skill level. Campers receive instruction from the Vanderbilt men’s and women’s golf coaches on fundamentals, technique, rules and etiquette. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Baseball camps focus on fundamentals in a fun and energetic atmosphere. Half-day camps are available for rising grades 18, and the High School Prospect Camp offers a five-day format with intense instruction. A discount is available to Vanderbilt employees. Learn more

  • Dyer Observatory Space Science Camps present an opportunity for middle-school students to explore the compelling worlds of science, math, engineering and technology. Dyer camps provide hands-on learning, demonstrations and engaging discussions that will inspire your child and help them envision future career possibilities in these exciting fields. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Summer Academy at Peabody College of education and human development serves academically advanced students in rising grades 712 in one-week and two-week residential opportunities. VSA provides students an accelerated summer experience grounded in academic rigor, while also fostering a strong sense of community and friendship. VSA students reside in a first-year residence hall designed for social interaction with a community of like-minded peers. Learn more 
  • Summer Academy at Vanderbilt for the Young at Peabody College is tailored for gifted and high-achieving students in rising grades 16. SAVY provides an intellectually vibrant environment where young minds can delve into numerous academic subjects and cultivate their passion for knowledge. Six options for full-day, weeklong classes are available. Learn more 
  • Career Connections at Peabody College is a program within SAVY that offers rising 7th and 8th grade students the opportunity to explore specific fields of study through immersive classes led by college professors, graduate students, industry experts and master educators. Students experience how expert knowledge and skills are applied in different fields, industries and/or research. Three options for full-day, weeklong classes are available. Learn more 
  • MusicTech camps at the Blair School of Music offer weeklong day camp and overnight camp experiences. Recommended for ages 1317, MusicTech is an exceptional summer experience for teens with a passion for video game music and game design. Campers learn to compose original game music alongside like-minded tech enthusiasts and industry experts. Learn more 
  • Vanderbilt Youth Orchestras Summer Intensive at the Blair School features intensive orchestral experience, challenging repertoire, sectionals and more. The intensive is open by audition to strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion students in rising grades 812. During this weeklong experience, students prepare a concert to be performed in Vanderbilt’s Ingram Hall. Learn more 
  • Summer Young Artists Orchestra at the Blair School provides an exciting full orchestra experience including rehearsals, sectionals and more. SYAO is open by audition to strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion students in rising grades 612.
