Vanderbilt’s Peabody College will offer an in-person opportunity for Vanderbilt staff and current undergraduate students to learn about Peabody master’s and doctor of education programs.
The Explore Peabody event will take place on Friday, November 10, 1:30-5:00 p.m. in Mayborn 117.
Attendees will learn from academic leaders, faculty, and current students about the distinctive advantages of earning a Peabody professional degree. Prospective students interested in pursuing the weekend-based doctor of education program (Ed.D.) for working professionals will have an additional opportunity to attend a Friday evening class.
Peabody College offers the master of education (M.Ed.), master of public policy (M.P.P.), and the doctor of education (Ed.D.) in a range of fields including higher education administration, education policy, international education policy and management, higher education leadership and policy, and educational leadership and policy. Peabody also offers on online Ed.D. program for working professionals in leadership and learning in organizations.
Master’s degree programs are also available to prospective students with career interests in teaching special education, human development counseling, cognitive psychology, community development, and child studies, among other fields.
Explore Peabody will include introductions to Peabody’s support offices for careers; equity, diversity and inclusion; student engagement; and international students. Breakout sessions and campus tours will be available.
