The Central Utilities Initiative project team met with NDOT to review the planned road closure of Natchez Trace in connection with the installation of underground utilities. The plan was submitted to NDOT and went before the newly established Multimodal Access Closure Commission. That commission has requested some modifications to the plan, and those are being made. The new date to begin work has not been determined. When it is, the community will be notified.
