Join HR Employee Learning & Engagement for the next session in their Career Growth Series: Enhancing your resume so it works for you, on May 23, 1–2:30 p.m.
When was the last time you updated your resume? How confident are you that your resume effectively showcases your experience to make you stand out to a recruiter or hiring manager?
In this session, you will:
- Revisit foundations of effective resumes, including formatting, phrasing and more, and determine strategies to optimize your resume for your next opportunity
- Hear directly from recruiters on what they look for in a resume, as well as common mistakes on resumes and strategies to avoid common mistakes
To get the most out of this session, please bring your most recent resume. We won’t ask you to share your resume, but having access to it during and after the session will help you to apply the strategies discussed.
To enroll in this virtual session, please visit vanderbi.lt/ele-career-resume or search for “Enhancing Your Resume” in Oracle Learn. If you are not able to participate on May 23, the recording will be available as a self-paced offering in Oracle the next day.
The goal of the Career Growth Series is to provide structured, intentional opportunities for staff to focus on their career development and to add tools and resources to their career development tool kit.
Career Growth Series sessions include crafting your elevator pitch, building your online presence, updating and enhancing your resume, mock interviewing and more. To see details and enroll in sessions, please visit the Career Growth Series page. We invite you to participate in any sessions that interest you, adding to your tool kit as you build toward your next growth opportunity, whether that means gaining new skills to use in your current role, moving into a leadership position or enhancing your personal brand in your field.
