The Jean and Alexander Heard Libraries will host Chancellor Daniel Diermeier for a discussion on his academic research, including highlights from his recently released fifth book, Reputation Analytics. The event will take place on Wednesday, April 26, at 1:30 p.m. in the Central Library Community Room with an introduction from University Librarian Jon Shaw. It will be moderated by Kelly Goldsmith, E. Bronson Ingram Professor of Marketing at Owen Graduate School of Management.
Vanderbilt faculty, staff and students are all invited to this special event.
Reputation Analytics builds on Diermeier’s influential scholarship on reputational risks for global corporations to create a methodology to evaluate and grow their corporate reputations that has immediate application in scholarship and in practice. The book uses a trans-disciplinary approach, incorporating game theory, consumer behavior, cognitive psychology and computational linguistics to examine factors that influence reputation and address key ways that organizations can sustain and grow their reputations.
Drawing on his experience as an adviser to governments, nonprofits and leading companies, the chancellor will share his insights on leadership tools and tactics to boost the trust and reputation of organizations.
