Faculty Senate to host informational workshops on retirement, classroom resources

The Faculty Life Committee of the Faculty Senate will host informational workshops focused on two important topics of interest to our faculty: retirement and classroom resources. These two topics were the main areas of interest when Faculty Senators were surveyed as representatives of their faculty constituencies.

The first workshop, presented by the Center for Teaching, will be Tuesday, March 21, 12:30–1:30 p.m. This session will discuss program resources, opportunities to visit other classes, ways to handle AI in the classroom, and how to audit classes as faculty members.

The second session, presented by Vanderbilt Human Resources and Fidelity Investments on retirement planning and benefits, will be Tuesday, April 4, 12:30–1:30 p.m. This session will cover benefits, programs and planning resources available to faculty.

Both workshops will be at the new Faculty Commons, on the second floor.
