Electronic W-2s now available; printed documents have been mailed

Electronic W-2s are now available through ADP W-2 Services as a new, enhanced benefit for Vanderbilt University employees this year. Electronic W-2s are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

This is the third year that ADP has managed Vanderbilt University’s printed W-2s.

Additionally, ADP W-2 Services simplifies the process of using tax preparation software. Use the control number on your form to automatically upload the document’s data into your preferred tax prep software. Hosting W-2s through ADP also allows former VU employees who no longer have a VUnetID to access their documents with a username and password after they complete a registration process.

To view or print your W-2, follow the instructions below or look for the Jan. 23 email from Human Resources:

  • In Oracle Cloud under the “Me” tab, click on the tile called “ADP W-2s (2020-Current).” Please note that this location has changed.
  • Choose the tax statement you’d like to view and click “View Statement.”

As a reminder, the IRS allows employers to voluntarily mask social security numbers on employee copies as a security enhancement, so you will only see the last four digits of your taxpayer ID on your form.

Paper copies of W-2s for those who did not make the “electronic only” election in Oracle have been mailed to the resident address on file.
