Open enrollment is underway now until Friday, Oct. 28, at 11:59 p.m. CT. This year, all benefits-eligible employees must elect a health plan or waive coverage. If you do not complete the enrollment process, you will be defaulted to the Choice Consumer-Driven Health Plan (Choice CDHP) at your current individual or family coverage level.
If you need help enrolling or do not have access to a computer, stop by the Benefits on-campus lab Thursday, Oct. 20, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. CT in Sarratt room 189.
The benefits team will be there to assist with your open enrollment questions. The following resources will also be available:
- 2023 Benefits Detailed Guide
- Personal assistance making your elections online
- Access to a computer
- Printed benefit enrollment confirmation pages
VUnetID and password
You must have your VUnetID and password ready and active before you visit. If you need help with your VUnetID or your password, visit it.vanderbilt.edu/accessvu or contact your IT support provider or the Help Desk.
DUO multi-factor authentication needs
Once you have reset your VUNetID and password, you will need to use Vanderbilt’s multi-factor authentication system to access myVU Benefits and enroll in your benefit elections.
If you do not currently have DUO, you can download the DUO app from the Apple or Google Play stores. Once you have it downloaded, visit VUIT’s Multi-Factor Authentication page to enroll and follow the next steps.
If you are currently enrolled in the MFA system, simply go to the myVU Benefits website, log in using your VUNetID and password, and complete the MFA using a passcode from DUO.
