The Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center at Vanderbilt Peabody College of education and human development will host the 2022 National Prenatal-to-3 Research to Policy Summit virtually on Oct. 13 from 1 to 4 p.m. The event is free, and all are welcome to register and attend.
The third annual summit will preview the highly anticipated 2022 Prenatal-to-3 State Policy Roadmap, the center’s annual progress report on the best state investments to ensure children can thrive from their earliest years. The event also will feature Elliot Haspel, author of Crawling Behind: America’s Child Care Crisis and How to Fix It, and policymakers from states that have made noteworthy progress on efforts to support children and families.
The Prenatal-to-3 Policy Impact Center is directed by Cynthia Osborne, professor of early childhood education and policy, and translates research on the best public investments into state policy actions that produce results for young children and society. The center’s team of researchers and nonpartisan policy experts collaborate with policymakers, practitioners and advocates to analyze evidence and seek the most effective policies to address the social, economic and health needs of families that support effective child development.
