Explorations in Research scheduled for Feb. 7

Registration is open for the fourth annual Explorations in Research networking event. Hosted by the Office of Immersion Resources in partnership with Scientific Immersion and Mentorship, the event convenes Vanderbilt researchers from all disciplines to present their research and network with students to discover possible new collaborations. This year’s event will be held virtually via Zoom on Monday, Feb. 7, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. CT.

This year’s topic is Innovations in Social Science Research featuring opening remarks by Marcy Singer-Gabella, professor of the practice of education. A panel of faculty lightning-round presentations and Zoom room networking will follow. The full program and schedule will be available to registered participants. Faculty, staff and students representing all disciplines are invited to meet with others to explore cross-campus and Immersion Vanderbilt project collaborations.

Anyone interested in attending can register online. Zoom links will be sent via email to all registered participants. Registration will remain open through the day of the event. Questions may be directed to immersion@vanderbilt.edu.
