Faculty training sessions available for VERA

As previously announced, the phased transition to the new Vanderbilt Electronic Research Administration (VERA) system that will replace Coeus and PEER will begin Oct. 1. While the software will largely be used by research administrators across campus, faculty will need to provide certain approvals in the system for proposals and agreements.

Multiple training options are available for faculty activities in VERA, including live demonstrations, on-demand videos, and one-page cheat sheets. Live training will be 30-minute Zoom sessions that walk faculty through the two main functions they will perform in VERA: provide a PI Assurance on a proposal, and approve the draft of a subcontract.
